4 tea bags Twinings® Herbal – Orange and Cinnamon Spice Tea
¾  cup Freshly-Boiled Water
⅓ cup All-Purpose Flour
3 tbsp Granulated Sugar
½ tsp Baking Powder
½ tsp Cinnamon
½ cup Pumpkin Puree
1 Egg
2 tbsp Vegetable Oil

Ready in minutes, this quick and easy-to-make mini pumpkin cake is flavoured with Orange & Cinnamon Spice Tea for a fragrant and flavourful treat.

HOW TO

  1. Pour 3/4 cup (175 mL) freshly boiled water over tea bags; let steep for 4 to 5 minutes. Remove tea bags; let cool slightly.
  2. Whisk together flour, sugar, baking powder and cinnamon. In separate bowl, whisk together tea, pumpkin puree, egg and oil until blended; stir into flour mixture just until combined.
  3. Divide batter between 2 large greased microwave-safe mugs. Microwave on High for 1 1/2 to 2 minutes or until set. Let cool for 5 minutes before serving.

Tip:  Dust with icing sugar or serve with a scoop of vanilla ice cream or a dollop of whipped cream if desired.
