Glow Green Smoothie



4 tea bags Twinings® Wellness - Glow
 cups Freshly-Boiled Water
1 Small Ripe Avocado, halved, pitted and peeled
1 cup Packed Spinach
1 cup Frozen Pineapple
¼ cup Quick-Cooking Oats
1 cup Ice Cubes

Take this green tea smoothie along as a grab-and-go breakfast and it will keep you going and glowing until lunchtime.

  • Prep Time: 5 minutes
  • Cook Time: 5 minutes
  • Total Time: 10 minutes (+ 30 minutes chilling time)
  • Serves: 2


  1. Pour 2 cups (500 mL) freshly boiled water over tea bags; let steep for 4 to 5 minutes. Remove tea bags; let cool slightly, then refrigerate until cold.
  2. In blender, mix together tea, avocado, spinach, pineapple, oats and ice until smooth.
  3. Divide between 2 tall glasses.

Tip:  If needed, use gluten-free oats. Sweeten with maple syrup if desired.
