Take this green tea smoothie along as a grab-and-go breakfast and it will keep you going and glowing until lunchtime.
- Prep Time: 5 minutes
- Cook Time: 5 minutes
- Total Time: 10 minutes (+ 30 minutes chilling time)
- Serves: 2
- Pour 2 cups (500 mL) freshly boiled water over tea bags; let steep for 4 to 5 minutes. Remove tea bags; let cool slightly, then refrigerate until cold.
- In blender, mix together tea, avocado, spinach, pineapple, oats and ice until smooth.
- Divide between 2 tall glasses.
Tip: If needed, use gluten-free oats. Sweeten with maple syrup if desired.
