Soothe Quinoa Breakfast Bowl

Ingredients

2 tea bags Twinings® Soothe Turmeric, Orange & Star Anise
1 cup Freshly-Boiled Water
1 cup Almond Milk
1 cup Quinoa
1 pinch Salt
2 Bananas, mashed
2 tbsp Maple Syrup
½ tsp Vanilla Extract
1 cup Mixed Berries (such as raspberries, blueberries, blackberries and strawberries)
¼ cup Pistachios
2 tbsp Hemp Seeds

Instructions:

  1. Pour boiling water over tea bags. Let steep for 5 minutes. Remove tea bags.
  2. Combine tea, almond milk, quinoa and salt; bring to boil. Reduce heat to low. Cook, stirring occasionally, for 20 to 25 minutes or until quinoa is very tender.
  3. Remove from heat; stir in bananas, maple syrup and vanilla.
  4. Divide mixture between 2 bowls. Top with berries, pistachios and hemp seeds.

Tip: Substitute almonds or cashews for pistachios.
