Superblends Soothing Turmeric Quinoa Breakfast bowl

2 tea bags | Superblends Soothing Turmeric |
1 cup | Freshly-Boiled Water |
1 cup | Almond Milk |
1/2 cup | Quinoa |
1 pinch | Salt |
2 | Bananas, mashed |
2 tbsp | Maple Syrup |
½ tsp | Vanilla Extract |
1 cup | Mixed Berries (such as raspberries, blueberries, blackberries and strawberries) |
¼ cup | Pistachios |
2 tbsp | Hemp Seeds |
Instructions:
- Pour boiling water over tea bags. Let steep for 5 minutes. Remove tea bags.
- Combine tea, almond milk, quinoa and salt; bring to boil. Reduce heat to low. Cook, stirring occasionally, for 20 to 25 minutes or until quinoa is very tender.
- Remove from heat; stir in bananas, maple syrup and vanilla.
- Divide mixture between 2 bowls. Top with berries, pistachios and hemp seeds.
Tip: Substitute almonds or cashews for pistachios.
